On your chess Tournament

Dear Romir,
Yesterday there was a chess tournament and you won 2 out of 6 games. Your winning 2 games was a moment of pride and happiness for us. Please remember that it’s not so important to win as it is to participate in a tournament - participation means you are willing to take on more and more attempts and the outcome is simply not important so ignore it.... enjoy life...
There are times when things will not go our way and we shouldn’t lose hope - just compare yourself of today with yourself of yesterday - and ask is today’s Romir better than yesterday’s Romir - if answer is no then practise a bit more... repeat the drills and tactics... exercise and then relax... please note if you practise honestly hard you will automatically become better each day and that will count in the long run...
Life is full of opportunities and sometimes difficult. Its better to remain prepared and not get an opportuninty than to find an opportunity without you being prepared... so some day your effort will be paid off... at some point in time it will take shape and form the larger picture and this happens automatically - we need to trust and continue this beautiful journey of life....
Amidst all hard work and preparation - enjoy life as well... laugh, smile and make merry - make good friends and avoid negativitiy.
Wishing you all the best in life...
Baba and Maa
